Our Vision

Every child in Meghalaya achieves their full potential

Enable Meghalaya's children to achieve their full long-term potential by ensuring good health care, nutrition and cognitive development support during the critical years of early childhood (0-8 years) and for pregnant and lactating women.

The Mission takes a holistic, life-cycle approach, addressing all six domains of the WHO Nurturing Care Framework through convergent action across departments.

Mission Objectives

  • Ensure good health outcomes for children and mothers
  • Provide adequate nutrition for healthy growth
  • Deliver quality early childhood education
  • Create safe and nurturing environments
  • Promote responsive caregiving practices
  • Support parental well-being and mental health
