A World Bank review mission visiting Meghalaya has commended the MECDM's innovative convergence model that brings together five government departments to deliver integrated early childhood development services.
The mission noted that MECDM's approach of converging Health, Education, Social Welfare, Water & Sanitation, and Community & Rural Development departments at the district and block levels represents a best practice that could be replicated in other Indian states.
